Vocabulary.
Shipwreck: the accidental sinking or destruction of a ship.
Castaway: a shipwreck survivor.
Chemistry: the science that deals with the nature of substances. A chemist is a scientist who studies and works on Chemistry.
Gynecology: the branch of medicine that deals with the health care of women. A gynecologist is a woman's doctor.
Engineer: 1. a person who designs, makes or works with machinery. 2. a person who designs and constructs buildings, roads, bridges, etc.
hire: to employ someone: Annie will hire the soccer player to play for her team.
Psychology: the science that deals with mental processes and behavior. A psychologist is a person who is trained in Psychology.
Forensic Science: a science used to examin crime scenes and gather evidence to be used in the prosecution of offenders in a court of law. The main areas of Forensic Science include: Biology, Chemistry, and Medicine. Most forensic scientists specialize in one area of science.
